What do you mean? It's a fighting game, it's obvious there are combos you need/can pull off. There is actual timing required in pulling them off as well. What, you think it's a macro or a single button press that will trigger one or something? It's called perfecting your playstyle, nothing more.
So, is it any different than someone speed running a game (for fun, mind you) by trying to find the best techniques in order to finish the game more quickly, or someone doing a superplay by trying to get the best score possible without missing one combo (i.e. Radiant Silvergun, Ikaruga, etc.), etc.
