You see the birds flying, you see they flap their wings, and so you think that if you have wings and flap them, you too can fly.
The "fallacy", although it's not a "logical fallacy" in the strictest sense, is that you've only done a superficial analysis, and you've ignored all the other birdmen who've jumped to their doom thinking the same thing already.
