It will not affect the Wii at all. It will be seen as a copy-cat gimmick that it really is.
Everybody's been criticizing the wii saying that third parties can't understand the wii concept, can't make games that sell on the wii, can't make good use of the motion control on the wii.
What makes you think they will suddenly make good use of motion controls on a 3rd party, non-standard controller on other consoles?
