Hehe, you don't have to take it too personally, in fact, don't. I know WoW posted this on purpose. I was just referring to a match me and him did a few months ago. ;) It's just fun to notice that he didn't take into account that Brawl+ is not trying to be Melee 2.0. The project is the best of both worlds, meaning you can have the fun with the items like in the old games, plus it fixes this "thing" the developers apparently missed. |
It's not my fault you can't figure out how to avoid a simple fair->dsmash after an entire match of practice.
As for being Melee 2.0, don't put words in my mouth. You should know better than to do that. Brawl+ speeds up the game and makes it easier to chain attacks. I dislike most traditional fighting games because it's very easy to memorize enough patterns to rip off anywhere from 40-80% of your HP in a single string. All Brawl+ is doing is creating the equivalent patterns that will result in easier KOs.
Brawl is slower the time from start to KO is far far longer than Melee. These "improvements" drastically reduce that time by creating more stringables. I don't really like that.
@Solid : Marth wasn't on the level of Fox/Shiek in the Melee (except maybe in terms of deceiving grab range). It's just that Ken was skilled enough to make him look good... really good. Marth wouldn't have been nearly so popular without Ken.
