Problem with LH is, that is not guaranteed. I clearly remember, when I battle with ultimate boss (I don´t want spoil) a used Renzo eight times. NO LH. On the other hand, AF from Zell is practically given, you don´t need anything, only quick fingers. Same with Irvine, Quick Shot is... quick.
255 strenght for anyone isn´t problem, characters aren´t that different. With some luck for criticals and you have really big damage for these two.
I´m a type of player, which cannot only sit and watch. From this reason, I nearly never used GF. Too long animation. "Normal" GF are sometimes bearable, but Eden... no, I will not summon Eden again, never!! 50k (or something like this) isn´t that much and you do it for shorter time with chars only.
