^I disagree on your predictions for 360 vs PS3, but I'd rather continue to the next point...
Who cares about the Wii? Does every Wii sold really subtract anything from the 360 or PS3 market? 30% or 21% is only a percentage relevant to this site. In the real world the PS3 and 360 are doing their thing, ushering in the era of the multimedia hub.
Sony managed to push BluRay, Microsoft managed to put its foot in the door for the streaming media market. They have planned their hardware revisions so they have pretty good ideas of when and how they can begin to rake profit from the hardware that allowed them to meet their goals in the first place.
That's what is serious for them, not the stroking of egos. I doubt they even discuss the Wii much at all, if not as an interesting experiment in a widened market that they could not afford in the first place with their hardware. They just have different priorities.
