I don't know do i really add anything into the conversation with this post.

Nintendo has made an family friendly image for itself, when games that overshoot with their violence are seen as "twice as bad".
GTA:CW drugdealing is about the same level "bad" as GTA4:s drunk driving, but CW is on family friendly platform and therefore is worse.
Madworld has excessive amount of gore, but the motorsaw in Gears of War had it too. Despite Gears of War causing loud noise due to violence, it wasn't as bad as it wasn't on family friendly platform.
In any case, the only problem is the parents don't keep track of the games their kids play or the games that parents buy for their kids.

As for the "hardcore" whining, it happens when a game that they'd want to see on their platform comes out on Wii.

@Procrastinato: Some games would do better on PS360 when judging by raw sales, but it doesn't mean they'd do better financially. Also the not crowded market makes it possible to make games with lower budget to try out new consepts.
