And still the PS3 is selling on average within a 20% of the 360 sales, and in Others (and basically in all EU save for UK) it's basically on par with the 360 one year of headstart notwithstanding. I won't talk about Japan because that's a singular case.

I think that your perception about the "average consumer" might be heavily blindsided by considering only your immediate friends or more in general only the NA.

Just cannot see it happening anymore. I fully expect 360 to pull a gap of 20 million by the end of the generation. And the Wii well you do the math.

It wont be long (3 years?) Before we close in on last gens numbers. I dont expect that this gen will sell LOADS more than last gen.

No advertising, 2 blocks of shelve space in local shops etc etc. PS3 just doesnt have ANY momentum. Already this gen has seen roughly 100 million consoles sold. And only 20% of those gamers are PS3 gamers. Even the 360 at 30% isn't great. But the Wii is selling crazily.
