I think we should wait a bit more, and anyway, I wouldn't use Mad World, Deadly Creatures or whatever supposed "core" games you want as a sign of "core games" not being able to sell on the Wii. I doubt its sales would be much better on the other consoles. what people want (especially those who want flops and not success) is Mad World/Deadly Creatures matching the sales of the Mass Effects and Fallouts, which are nowhere near the Wii, and at this point I don't believe there will be any equivalent. if anything, the sales of World at War shows that if someone is able to push a game with mass market appeal, with a reasonably higher budget , the problem might not be with the userbase itself. and what I also think is important in this matter is having a steady flow of these games being released, which is also nowhere near the Wii. once in a blue moon will not help estabilishing a genre on a console (Banjo-Kazooie anyone?)
