If you were going for an impartial take on the scenario then the statement I highlighted just makes you look like a fanboy. We should mention the Wii in any comparisons and there is no way the 360 should be selling double the amount of the PS3, thats not how demand works mate. |
OK, maybe you are right about that statement and I accept that. Maybe twice as much is an exaggeration. I do however believe the wii should be left out, not as an insult to the wii but it's sales are so astronomical it's a bit pointless comparing it to the other two.
My point is despite holding all the gaming cards like price, library, 3rd party support, massive advertising campaign, etc., the xbox360 is not selling as I expected it would. In all honesty I expected it to be competing more directly with the wii in sales.
Look at past posts and you will see many thought the same with the price cut.
As for fanboyism....please. I at some point owned and enjoyed all three. I got the 360 and enjoyed it until the third prod and decided to give up as it obviously didn't like my house. I now own a wii and recently picked up a PS3.
I am just writing what I think and would support/attack nintendo, MS or Sony should it be necessary to get my point accross.
