That can't be right.  i thought the 360 sold at cost. Or very near.

you have to see the big picture here, let we see,

why MS keep upgrading what user get,

newest arcade jasper even include built in  memory, also since last year they bundling with wireless controller / not wired one

this is because MS already made xbox 360 in profit so they can continue give user more values

if MS like sony sold at loss, they will think 10 times, before doing price reduction or adding more values

 

also remembe MS not the one who have console with pricey bluray, not with wifi , not with blutooth etc

even with improving technology,  if blueray hardware on ps3 keep coming down in cost to sony so do DVD on xbox 360

And what Sony is doing? Ripping every component they can from PS3 to get the manufacturing price as low as possible. And ninty? Selling their console for profit just like before. I bet ninty will pull "Theres colors for Wii!" card before they lower the price. I just love this gen...
