But comparing it with other consoles like the 360 at a cheaper value, I still think its expensive for a system that doesn't play DVD's/HD video/Quality online service. But if you get a rebuffed Hard Drive for $20 and an HD/AV cable cheap for the 360, then both the prices will be around the same price and the 360 would still offer a lot more.
I own both systems, so please no fanboy wars. i just want a valid opinion if the Wii is overpriced. |
That's your personal opinion and I don't mean that in a negative way. I'd just like to remind you that many people think differently. They might see no value in the features you listed, thus they don't care that the Wii doesn't have them.
What most people see when purchasing a console are the games available for it. The Wii currently has the most desireable exclusive software and that's why people are willing to pay for it

Yeh, its my personnal opinion. Thx for understanding :). But I know that most people have different ways of purchasing/picking their consoles. i just wanted to point out different options and what I think is a better choice for them.

Well, I'm a PC gamer too, as far as multimedia goes, HD consoles offer me obsolutely nothing, I buy consoles for games only, and once you get used to the Wiimote, the dual analog seems a little meh, I'll give you really stupid reasons as to why I say that too, if you are playing a game without motion sensing on the nun-chuck, you can keep playing comfortably with wiimote arm down while scratching your head with the nun-chuck hand without disrupting game play. also if I'm laying on my couch, I can spread my arms out in a very relaxing way while I play instead of having to hold my hands together. I really like that controller lol.
