yes the subway in madrid is better
I found it too
(I spend 4 day 3 months ago)
but it is not the people that smell shit in the subway (paris), it is more the place itself that smells .... the subway lol.
the subway can smell dirty human if you come in the summer, in the late afternoon, when people come back to home..
