Dude, you wont brick your system with this. The only thing that a firmware update does is removing the HBC, which you can reinstall. And also, the HBC is legal (but some apps people run throught it isnt) and Brawl+ is legal too. Playing Brawl+ with people other than friends who has the same codesets has you is hacking and you get a temporary ban from Nintendo. But, you can always boot vBrawl normally if you want to play online..
