It is clear that blu-ray will end up the winner,
It has the most support from movie studios(
-buena vista
-sony
-lionsgate
-20th century fox
-mgm
-warner bros
-dreamworks
-paramount
-new line cinema.
While hd-dvd supports
-Weinstein company
-Universial Studios
-warner bros
-dreamworks
-paramount
-new line cinema.
That is why you should notice that most of the movies are coming to blu-ray because most of the entertainment is siding with blu-ray. You should notice that the sales will be even more dramatic, due to the 2 biggest movies this year are coming to blu-ray only: pirates of the carribean and spiderman.
It will just be time until blu-ray wins, hd-dvd just doesn't have enough support. I do predict that it will end during the end of this year.
