I've in france for 20 days this summer). For example, I had to cover my nose in the subway, as no one seemed to had a shower in the morning (and this does not happen in america!!).
==> the subway smell bad,
not 90% of the french people !!!! lol
and yes, I'm sure france wanted to protect her place in middle east, it is why they were against the Irak invasion.
but I'm sure USA wanted to improve their place, it is why they wanted to invade Iraky.
personnaly, I still think Irak invasion was bad, whatever you refer to petrol or not.
Invade a country WITHOUT any plan for the "post-war" peace exit is senseless.
