the game is amazing, kids don't even know it exists, they'll buy it once they see it on stores
also, it's true that most GTA for Ps2/PSP owners are kids who do not even play the story, just go around they city and shoot people or get cars, most people don't even know you are supposed to play a story
that's why i consider GTA as more casual than hard core, so i think it will sell a lot on Ds, and could have really huge sales on Wii (something like Mario Kart)
don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^
