74k sounds really good when you think games like SMT: Nocturne sold 60k LTD in the states. Persona 4 did just 123k. The Yakuza games for the ps2 topped at 50k. Etc...
Frankly, 74k looks like middle-of-the-pack for your average japanese-centric game in the states.
