I love making topics that no one can discuss.. It makes it pointless and drives home the fact that my analysis is perfect :P

Also about software.. I was gonna make a bigger OP with software trends also.. Notably, from the small amount of snooping I did, DS also had a slow start with software and slowly built it's way up.
Two main differences that areas that are effecting Wii software are:
1. Wii has gained market share more slowly than DS as it has two competitors that are doing better than any other two runner up consoles.
2. Nintendo threw everything it had at the Wii in the first year and a half, DS was a slow burner in this regard.
So while DS third party software is amazing today, it was a more linear accent where as I think Wii third party software support will be more exponential in nature with the real explosion occuring next year, not saying this year will be bad, it'll be better than any other year but we'll see DS like support starting next year and the Wii will eclipse it by the end of its life.
