I love RPGs but I honestly think the problem isn't the platform this generation with JRPs (on HD consoles) but the quality. The story and game play mechanics are just substandard in my opinion.

JRPG develoeprs may favor the 360 because it may cost less to develop for the 360? I think there is lots of evidence floating around that seems to indicate that PS3 development may be more expensive.

Even if, hypothetically, a JRPG released on the PS3 and outsold the 360 counterpart it may not be sufficient to justify the PS3 development cost.

I think developers should give the Wii a chance. Low development costs and huge install base = no brainer. I honestly think HD gaming is overrated and a bit forced this generation.



I'm not a fanboy, I just try to tip the balance in favor of logic and common sense.
