use sword and make different magic staffs, sword is for quick hitters and veins blocking your way while magic hits for huge dmg on bosses.

Mix it up, eh? Sounds good. My magic skill blows right now, but with a bit of time I can easily bring it up. No love for the other mellee weapons then?

before i goto sleep, if for some reason, i manage to have some hp and rp left, i'd just take out a staff and start whacking into thin air to raise my magic skills, works pretty well, and i suspect it will get better during the winter with lesser farming to do >=). 20 hours and i'm still on my first Fall lol.
