Ok, fine. You start off on the hypothesis that the brand has created it's legs. I disagree with that. I set out to disprove the idea that the brand is what was highly relevant by suggesting that 'if the brand is the big factor, then shouldn't it have a big start, like the HD versions'. Honestly I don't believe brand has much to do with it. People who like the CoD brand are HD owners, and we all know multi-console owners are a small subset of the market. I can't utterly disprove that brand was an important factor, but since brand hasn't seemed to help many other games, like Tomb Raider as mentioned, I'm not convinced it is.
