| WereKitten said: @Demotruk Okami did not sell for the Wii like it didn't sell on the PS2. The fact that it made a handful of dollars because it was a pretty direct port so it had low development costs does not change the fact that it did not sell. What about Tenchu or the two Tomb Raider games? Those were pretty decent I seem to remember, and known franchises. And hardly niche games. |
You ignored the question I asked about Zelda. But ok, Tenchu, I don't know how well it will sell. It's a recent release with 70,000 units so far, and the best selling Tenchu game of all according to vgchartz only sold 320,000 copies. Maybe it will have legs, maybe it won't.
And which Tomb Raider are you talking about, this? http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/wii/laracrofttombraideranniversary
Interesting benchmarks you use for expecting high sales, really.
A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.
