Madworld didnt sell good, but its a good game i heard.

The game's on track to sell 500k-1 mil if it has legs (which it should). Other Wii games had worse opening weeks yet sold a lot (look at CoD5 for example). You can't judge a Wii game's sales by the first week.

Wait what? How can we have any idea whether a game is on track to sell a certain amount of copies, when all we have to go by is the opening week from one region?

Well, here's one example. CoD5 sold worse than MadWorld but when it got ads it sold a lot more and is already at .98 mil. This type of game should have legs and also has ads. NMH a sorta similar game is at 400k with no ads, it's really common sense...

Unfortunately it's not. Madworld could still flop, you have to accept that possiblility and admit that you can't track based on the first week (for good or for bad).

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.
