If it sells 500k its certainly profitable and there will probably be a sequel of some sort. Most JRPGs sell less then that and many of the series are on their 5th iteration (look at Tales, that series never sells that well and yet they keep on making them). |
500K as profitable for a 20-30 million dollar game would seemingly go against what devlopers are stating.
I thought it was a cheap game too until Outlawaren told me they created a whole new engine for it.
