Do you believe in Sony's 10 year plan?

It wont do much since MS will be trailing right behind them until the end of that 10 year plan. The most that they can gain out of it are newer 1st party titles and profit and more owners of the Blu Ray product (Which is the reason for it's existence). It wont do much for shareholders nor marketshare.
