No. The truth of the matter is France was over run in 6 weeks and the French Legionaires in North Africa actually switched sides and fought for the Nazis. Was it not a little thing called D-day where hundreds of thousands of Allied troops(noticed i said Allied, not American, as we were not the only ones) invaded at a little place called Normandy in order to help push the Germans back and reclaim Europe. Yes, I know what happened, I have studied history. Thirdly, your just as ignorant as the rest of Americans in that video. You sit there and actually believe its indictitive of what Americans are. Have you ever been to the US? no, you haven't. Me on the other hand, I actually have travel all over the world(being a US Service Member, yes, hate on that if you want, I dont care) and actually now go to school for Foreign Affairs and International Relations, and deal with people from all over the world on an Daily basis. And i will tell you right now, if I went to another country, did the same thing this video did, i could come up with the same results. All you got to do is ask enough people, and only show those dumbasses in a video, and there you go. Its the same thing. In fact, I've have a ton of "WTF moments" with people who happen to be exchange students(i use them as an example because technically they should be the educated lot, oh, and most of the people i work with happen to be Europeans) where they totally didnt know common things, things similar to what was asked in that video. It happens all around the world. Ingorance is not secluded to only one state, country, or continent. And why the hell would you think coming to this country would get yourself killed or gone to prison? This is one of the few countries I've been (except Japan, those cops mainly carry big sticks they will not hesitate to fuck your world up with.) to that you dont see police or "paramilitary" police officers walking around on a normal basis with some sort of assault rifle. In fact, most Americans probably go their entire lives with never seeing an automatic weapon or assault rifle out on the streets. Not to mention, cops here compared to Europe have extremely strict rules on what they can do, while cops in the UK dont have as strict of rules on what they can do (had a friend of mine beat by a Bobby or whatever they call them there, kind of crazy) My final thought, is that if your going to bash a country for being filled with morons, try to back it up that you yourself are not an idiot (as you've proven otherwise by bad facts) and bashing a country you've never been to makes you just as ignorant as the people (actual stupid Americans, they are out there, just like every country has some stupid people) you try to hate on.
