The first NCAA game on Wii was a mess, scored poorly and sold lousy. If they can't do it right, then don't do it at all. Possibly EA isn't investing enough development to this to do another version justice and doesn't want to make crappy Wii games anymore.
Sadly that also means we're unlikely to see NHL 10 either...
