MH is not a jRPG. Dragon Quest X - I said outside of the mighty trio (FF-KH-DQ) I expect and want DQX to be a success in the West, but just like in case of FFXIII on the PS3 - it is just one game, it isnt going to make other devs switch back to consoles from handhelds.
And there is nothing I can suggest for console jRPG devs. Whatever they do will either not work or will piss off their existing fanbase. There is a thread at neogaf discussing what can be done to increase console jRPGs popularity. I think nothing can be done and outside of big franchises devs will just move away from consoles more and more.
