I understand your point, but I really don't think I'm romanticizing the past. Those games were genuinely awesome at the time they came out. I just miss those kinds of experiences...
Nintendo used to dominate all the best games. Now, there are those same kinds of quality games, but they are all spread out on different systems. PC, Wii, PS3, 360, PSP, DS
