We're not even talking about the Wii at this point. I'm saying that romanticizing past experiences also clouds our abilities to make level judgements on what we are presently experiencing. If we always view the past through rose-tinted glasses we are never going to be able to look at the things we have now with anything even pretending to be objectivity.
