But of course, it makese sense that just one country would. You want to do research next time sir. When a new nintendo system comes out, they give up on the old one. It is a simple fact of life.

The SNES was released in 1991. The NES was discontinued in 1995 in America and 2003 in Japan.

The Nintendo 64 was released in 2006. The SNES was discontinued in 1999.

In fact, the only two times Nintendo consoles haven't lived well past their replacement's launch is when the hardware was in a losing situation and Nintendo wasn't market leader. That sounds similiar to Sony. The only difference is that Sony hasn't had their first loss happen yet. Give it a few years and you'll see a swift end to the PS3 when the PS4 comes out.
