I'm not screaming it the article itself is implying it. This is simply a situation where your perspective is determining your perception as is mine. Racism is ingrained into our society, there is no "separating it" There is however, working "around" it and within it. Which is what we as a society have to continually do. I'm all for racial harmony that is (I would hope) one of the ultimate goals of our society. But to get there we need to call things as they are and not just how they should be.
If we ignore a cut it becomes a scar, if we treat the wound it can heal.
