This would seem like an interesting point at first but you have to consider that this so called casual audience has already picked their console. I doubt "attacking MS' fanbase" is Sony's plan but if they could appeal to the 360 fanbase and have the average 360 only owner want a PS3 too then that makes sense. What other way to appeal to the 360 fanbase than with a shooter? I mean isn't that suppose to be what the 360 crowd is know for, playing shooters? I would think that there a lot more 360 owners that would like to play Killzone 2 than Wii owners. 360 owner raises eyebrows for Killzone 2, Wii owner doesn't give a shit.
