MadWorld is what happened. I haven't tried it, I haven't been near the game yet. And I refuse to buy it for a console I don't own myself. But it got me excited over the things the Wii could do. Games on the Wii have a chance to be something no other games can be, and having fully realized this, I now want to want a Wii.

What would happen if you bought a Wii, tried Mad World, and hated it?

I would laugh like a maniac, cry on the inside and curse myself for not taking my own advice

There has to be at least 5+ games from that list and that's not even more. Maybe you should wait until GDC in a few days and E3 to see what games will be release for Wii that might interest you before you buy one.

Counting games I have any interest in at all, there are 6 games on that list. But I still differentiate between games I would buy if I had the platform, and games I would buy the platform to play, and of the entire Wii lineup, both past and currently announced, only MadWorld is making me want to buy a Wii to play it.

besides mario galaxy u are not interested in Zelda or mario kart?

and the idea of wii motion plus in wii sports resort / grand slam tennis / tiger woods 10?

Nope, only Super Mario Galaxy.

And I like the idea of Motion+, but I can't get excited about it, until developers prove they can even use the Wiimote without it. And until they do, I suspect there will be a plethora of games trying to use it, but they will all be a mix swordfighting/tennis/golf and maybe hockey and other sports where you use sticks.

And Wii Sports Resort sounds better than Wii Sports, but it doesn't say a lot since I don't care for Wii Sports at all.
