Edit: Speaking of which, I should point out that one of the reasons I've been enjoying Warhawk on my friend's PS3 so much is because the voice chat is nothing like what I experienced with Xbox Live. The gamers are respectful, they work in teams, come up with strategies, and the prepubescent teens and asshole frat boys are few and far in between. I'm still probably getting a 360 first because it has more games I want, but I'm probably not going to be paying for Live.

Halo 2 was actually a completely different experience online when it first came out (it was much the same as your Warhawk experience). I'm not sure why it suddenly changed (maybe there was a flood of young gamers and immature adults or just people mastering the game/getting bored that caused the problems).

You know you're the third person to tell me that. I didn't own an Xbox when Halo 2 launched though... in fact I didn't pick one up until almost a year after. By that time it had gone to hell apparently. I kinda regret not getting an Xbox at Halo 2's launch now... because the online play is great, and I wish I'd had the chance to play it with more mature and respectful gamers.
