TBH discs themselves are a PITA. I want to store all my movies on my 4 TB HDD space which is far more convenient than storing boxes everywhere.

This was the saying of VHS owners as well.  Some people just have to be dragged into this kicking and screaming.  It's the way history has been with this sort of thing.
