My only gripes with Blu Ray are
1. Cost - Its just too expensive at the moment.
I dont want to have a mega collection of directors interviews and behind the scenes exclusive extras. I just want the movie as cheaply as possible.
UK 19/03/08 or 03/19/08 for Americans
Dark Knight - DVD 6.99 GBP
Dark Knight - Blu Ray 17.99 GBP
Thats insanity.
2. Market penetration - It does actually bother me that if I do buy a Blu Ray film I will be unable to play it at a friends or lend to a friend until they upgrade. As most of my friends show no signs of upgrading I probably wont bother.
No point being the first lemming off the cliff.
