Come on are people seriously questioning whether Blu Ray is better than DVD? DVD is obviously better for the general consumer and will remain that way for a few years. When assessing which is better IGN are taking into comparative costs. Which is better a player that costs $99 and you can get movies for $9 on it or a player that costs $250 and the same $9 cost $18 albeit that the $250 player and $18 movies gives better picture quality? I bet you anyone here that chooses not to accept this is a Sony fan and/or has a PS3.
