For starters, Fable 2 launched in the holiday season, therefore it naturally has a larger opening.
(+ Setting aside the fact that KZ2 hasn't launched in Japan yet, whilst Fable 2's first month in Japan gave it 65k - not expecting KZ2 to sell much over there, but maybe 30-35k first month).
But even despite launching in February, KZ2's 2nd & 3rd weeks are so far very comparable to Fable 2's.
Fable 2: week 2 USA [174k] week 2 EU [160k] week 3 EU [64k]
Killzone 2: week 2 USA [169k] week 2 EU [143k] week 3 EU [65k]
Let's just give it a few months before we review Killzone 2's legs. It'll be intriguing to see what its first 10 weeks look like.
