I have never understood how a ghost can exist, I mean what is it? I know its definition is a metaphysical being representingthe spirit of a deceased character, But what is it made of? What physical properties does it possess? Is it extra-dimensional? If so how does it ineract at will with the physical world? and why so people only see one or two in a photo? How does a transition between the physical and meta-physical world occur?
I guess I don't believe in them because to many questions are unanswered considering so much research has been put into it. If you propsed the existence of ghosts as a scientific hypothesis it would more than likely get shot down in the early stages of research due to these unanswerable questions (like it has many times).
Also, I'm sure that if everything had a soul that became a ghost every photo we took would be full of dead bugs, dogs, cats, squirells... taking a photo in an abertoir would be full of ghosts
