JRPG With The Best Characters

I'd probably have to go with Final Fantasy VI. The cast is pretty huge, and only a few characters seem like filler. The rest are the stuff of legends!

Edit: Although my single favorite character in a JRPG is probably Robo from Chrono Trigger.
