Threats, what "threats"? Have you read the original Bloomberg article? Because it's clearly written by a Sony hater, as the words in the article doesn't really represent the title of the article.
There is no threat from publishers to Sony about price cutting, it's just another article title from the bored media due to lack of any worthy report, and similar to this PSU article, it's taken out of contest, because what Peter Dille says here doesn't have anything to do about Sony not cutting the price of PS3.
