If Sony keeps acting like this, I think that Microsoft needs to step in, and do something radical to keep games on HD systems, and especially theirs. Just because Sony faces threats from publishers, doesn't mean MS needs to sit back and do nothing.

so you'll be willing to cover their losses when they cut the price? I'm pretty sure you'll aslo be one of those to comment on how ps1 era profits have wiped out as well. lets face it, publishers are selfish. This business is about making money. If sony cut the price, it's only profit for them. They're not going to help sony bear the losses. How 'bout we try selling the ps3 for $800 and all it's games for $30? I'm sure the devs would prefer that method.

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler
