One thing I've noticed with our games is how versatile you can be with your strategys. Yes, I start off with a warthog rush. But if that fails, I generally swap to another tactic if time allots it. That one match he had agaist those two covenants who used loctus didn't allow for that. But had they failed to destroy your base, I would have swapped to hawks or something that could take them out a bit faster.
Ontop of that, using forerunner shields on loctus's? Genius move, really. Something I'll have to adapt to use on a later date.
