UMD doesnt cost Sony anything anymore. They should be making a profit on UMD by now thats why they could make the drive run a bit quicker and quieter. PSP2 will have a mini-blu-ray disc player but who knows when they will release that. I figure another 2 years or so. The PSP Slim will have a price drop rather quickly. Almost no question about that thanks to FFVII:CC.
