He had attended a shooting range since he was 8 and had shown of the Beretta many times to his friends before, yet he learned to shoot from Far Cry 2 and his dad bought the gun simply because he knew a game called Far Cry 2 with such a gun that would fascinate his son would come out sometime in the future?
Oh, and black camo? Like the kind designed for urban operations and not the green/white/sand coloured kind made for forest/jungle/snow/desert etc?
Strange choice indeed.
They are pulling references and drawing up chalklined parallels here to make the videogame industry the culprit once again...
Games do not produce killers, they may once every three blue moons set one off for some reason but killers are not made from games.
Sounds to me like the entire family had an unhealthy relationship with weapons throughout the kids entire upbringing.
Having 15 guns in the home is a far greater worry for me than Far Cry 2 or Counterstrike will ever be.
