I was gonna say the exact same thing.

If it wasn't for Pokémon, well...

 

 

 I'm personally tired of the 'Pokemon saved Nintendo." garbage.  If the series didn't exist, I'm about 99% sure, Nintendo would still be here.  Look at the best sellers on the N64 and GC.  A Pokemon game isn't even the top 3 for the N64 or the top 5 for the Gamecube.

That's a very selective way of looking at numbers. Here's another one: Check the list of top 10 selling RPG's of all time.

 

I said that because people make it seem that about 50% of software sales come from Pokemon.

 

You have to admit that it is the second best selling franchise.
