I'd pick the black one but reading this thread shows an obvious leaning that way. So maybe I'll wait till they reduce the price on the blue to clearance price. 
Although I don't know if I will get one. I have a DS Thick and I don't play it much at all despite having a lot of games for it. I don't think getting a new DSi would make me want to play much more. And I think the new features are cool but probably don't justify the price for me.
When the price drops after popularity of the DS fades, I might buy it. So figure in 2014, I might get one.
I'll come up with something better eventually...
