I agree with jlauro, Nintendo were dealing in high end techology with the N64 and GC, and then transitioned into low end technology for the Wii. So now they will stay in the low end for the Wii2.
Note that the Wii is considerably more powerful than the most powerful 6th gen console. Therefore the Wii2 will be considerably more powerful than the most powerful 7th gen console
